When you think about this, I would be willing to bet the majority of you scratched your head and simply said to yourself, “huh?”
But it’s true. When you take the time to observe the animals in nature and your pets you will begin to smile from the inside out.
It has been proven that those who immerse themselves in nature live much healthier and happier lives. But how can watching nature help you to be happy?
When you take the time to stop what you are doing and watch the birds, you give your mind a much-needed respite.
By stopping to watch the clouds your mind becomes freer to be creative allowing you to be more creative in work and life.
This teaches you to align your energy with the rhythms of nature’s energy.
By observing animals and their behaviors, we can adapt their strategies in our lives to improve how we operate. Think of them as teachers on many levels.
Scientists have found that when you take the time to stop what you are doing, be still and watch and hear the nature around you, it’s another form of meditation.
It has also been proven that by meditating at least once a day you allow your mind to release many of the things in your mind that can stop your progress. It has also been scientifically proven that people who meditate each day are much happier with much less stress than those who do not.
Meditating by stopping to observe nature, or taking 15 minutes to simply be still and empty your mind, is just the start of how you can live a much happier life. Those who have been following me for some time, know that I am a true believer in meditation, no matter how that may look to you. It is a proven method of de-stressing, relaxation, and allowing your mind to let go. When you let go of all the thoughts that are no longer serving you, you open your mind to new positive thought patterns that allow you to be much happier in life/business.
So, yes stopping to observe the birds singing in the trees, watching your pet play with their toy, or simply quieting your mind, can allow you to be free of negative thoughts, for a much happier life.
