Who Is Chiron?

Carolyn explains...

"If you are familiar with Greek mythology or astrology, you have most likely heard of Chiron the Centaur. He is a half brother to Zeus, and thus a Demi-God. In astrology, he is a planetoid that has its orbit between Saturn and Neptune, and is symbolized by the "wounded healer". It represents our deepest wound, and our efforts to heal the wound. Chiron was a healer and teacher who, ironically, could not heal himself.

So why am I using Chiron in the name of my business? I am a practitioner of energy medicine of both people and animals (all types).  I am using the symbol of Chiron to represent my practice since I resonate with the apsects of Chiron being a healer, teacher, and the musical and astrological influences he also represents. I love the symbol because I treat both people and animals/horses. He is part horse and man, which to me is a great representation of who my clients are.

A major theme associated with Chiron is the re-integration of mind and body. Centauric consciousness is the capacity for both differentiated rational thought and intuitive awareness of our connection to the unified force field that lies beyond what our senses can perceive.

Thus, my work is about balancing people and animals energetically to their highest potential physically, emotionally and spiritually."
