When we take the time to pay close attention to our animals, can we better understand and communicate with them?
The answer may surprise you.
Granted it takes skill and training to be able to heal and speak with your pets as I do, but it’s still doable for you, once you begin to tune into the energy. There are essentially three key ways to communicate with your pet:
Your energy – You want to be calm and remove any distractions, such as the TV or radio.
Your mindset – Are you upset and thinking about other things? You want to ensure you are in the moment and present with your pet.
Feelings – You can’t communicate if you are feeling angry or anxious. You want to release your feelings before you tune into your pet, so they feel safe and can learn to let you know what they want or need to share.
There’s even an extra benefit of learning how to better relate to animals. Not only do these techniques help us better communicate with our pets, but we’ll more easily be ready to listen to our kids, spouses, friends, and acquaintances when they may need extra support.
When I work with my client’s pets, I aim to release any thoughts, feelings, or doubts I might I have carried over from a previous mood or experience. I need to be present and in tune with your pet. But with these techniques, I’ve helped pet guardians learn about the nuances of their pets, helping them both have a better relationship and be able to communicate in better ways.
By doing much of the same as I do, you too can communicate with your pets in a higher vibrational way. It makes all the difference in being able to receive their message more clearly. Simply pay attention to the cues.
Their eyes. Are they intent or fidgety?
The rhythm of their breathing. Are they calm or seem anxious?
The sounds they make. Is your cat purring and relaxed? Is your dog whimpering or lying down and receptive?
Focus on connecting from your heart to theirs. Open that heart connection and feel the message and the love.
As with any skill it takes time and patience. Taking the time to practice will not only help you communicate with your pets, but also become a better communicator in general.
The number one key is listening and paying close attention to body language. The more you practice, the more naturally it will come.
I’ve taught many a pet owner how to develop this, which also strengthens their person-to-pet bond, too.
Here’s to communicating with your pet successfully.
