How Our Pets Affect Our Health

For those following me, you know that I am a huge proponent for animals in general. But did you know that having a pet can not only help your mood, but your health as well?

It’s actually been proven that having a pet can improve a whole list of things.

Here are just a few ways our pets can help us toward great health:

Lower costrel and stress hormones
Improved blood pressure
Lower cholesterol (Is this a repeat of the first one?)

Emotional Support

Good for the heart
Eases depression
Boosts your fitness regimen
Fewer strokes
Fewer allergies and stronger immune systems Can help with asthma
Helps cancer patients with increased healing Can help kids/adults with ADHD and ADD Helps with autism
Relief with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Helps with chronic pain
Better quality of life

As you can see, having a pet can help you improve and stay healthy.

Don’t believe me? How’s this for proof: In a 20-year study, people who never owned a cat were 40% more likely to die of a heart attack than those who had. Another study found that dog owners had a better survival rate one year after a heart attack. No matter how you look at it, having a pet can improve your health and outlook on life.

Here’s to your health,

Carolyn Osborn

You can also gain knowledge about how energy medicine and intuitive messages can help us recognize and adjust to changes that are affecting us, as well as our animals. Even when we may not recognize it—  there are messages your dogs, cats, horses and other pets wish they could tell you directly—as they seek to give you loving help.
