New Habits Die Hard

Which habits will you choose now?

Which habits will you choose now?

During this whole “Stay-In” period we’ve established new habits.

Sleeping in late
No longer exercising as vigorously as before Watching more TV
Walking the dog less
Less structure

But as we all know, habits die hard and we have all had 90 days to form new ones during the COVID standards put in place.

Granted, old habits die hard as well, but as we all know it takes 30 days to form new habits and we’ve had 90 days to form many new ones.

Many of these habits have helped us take some much-needed time off to regroup and regenerate, while many have found themselves slipping into bad habits that have been hard to break.

Much of this is due to the emotional toll it takes when we are forced to stay in doors with little to no contact with other people.

It’s time to break these bad habits and get some type of normalcy back into your lives.

Start by:

Going on walks each day.
Start meditating each day.
Getting up at the same time each morning to get back into your normal routine. Start a project to keep you busy until you go back to work.
Start online training for possible new job opportunities.
Do simple visits with friends outdoors for a cup of coffee or lunch.

The main goal is to try and get back into a new routine that you want to keep. In other words, starting new habits that will serve you in better ways.

All you have to do is simply start one step at a time.

Here’s to your health,
