For those who are riders, It’s been great riding your horse in areas that are normally filled with people or cars.
However, as we start to go back to work and traffic starts to flow, these areas will now become a danger.
Now, I know many of you know this, but we and nature have become accustomed to a new routine. While we’ve been staying inside, much of nature has been venturing out. In fact, many times there have been wildlife seen in areas that have never been seen before.
When we start to venture out with our pets, we tend to forget that nature has been used to low crowds, if any at all.
But now more than ever, it’s time to be vigilant when you go hiking or to the park.
Watch out for:
rattle snakes
coyotes
bears
mountain lions.
And for your small pets…
owls
falcons
and eagles. Yes, eagles.
Many of nature’s predators are more aggressive and venturing out in areas they’ve usually forgone due to people traffic. So be cautious with your pets as you venture out into newly opened trails, hiking areas, and parks.
Stay safe this summer by simply keeping your eyes open.
Here’s to you and your pet’s health.
Warmly,
Carolyn Osborn
