What is it about the buffalo that is so strong and majestic?
Did you know they can help you manifest your dreams, bring in some optimism, and their energy also supports prosperity and abundance? Buffalo are historically connected to the Plains Indian nations of the early USA and have a strong history in this land. They are now making a comeback, which is good news.
Some of the positive attributes of the buffalo are:
Strength
Optimis
Courage
Abundance
Willpower
Spirituality
They have a natural strength that they embody and use to their advantage. One of the most significant powers they embody is showing us how to work with abundance and to have a thriving existence by exhibiting a grateful attitude in all we do. Those who can connect with the buffalo energy can truly walk the spiritual path, bringing in a higher energy frequency to help others. They also know how to remain humble and see the higher spiritual aspects of life. With their big bodies, they embody strength and power, in a good, powerfully positive way.
They also have a few negative aspects if you get out of balance.
Aggressiveness
Frustration
Abuse of power
These characteristics can come out when you are not truly expressing yourself in a healthy manner, and you suppress your honest emotions. (For example, pretending not to care or berating yourself internally when you’re feeling hurt or in need. That can create aggressive anger.) Staying in a healthy energetic balance will keep these from manifesting, and also by becoming aware of those tendencies you can keep them in check.
Call on the buffalo when you need to carry a heavy burden, or you need strength to carry out something scary. Buffalo reminds you that self-care during such times is nothing less than essential. Buffalo can also give you the courage to say “NO” when needed, or to speak your truth. Buffalo can also support you in creating abundance in all aspects of your life.
The buffalo has a special position of reverence among the American Native tribes of the plains and is credited for giving medicine to those tribes. There is also the legend that when a white buffalo is born, it will be an omen for peace, unity, hope, and positive transformation. Dreams of a white buffalo can be a positive omen for success and fulfillment in your life.
We can all use some of that energy, so tap into your inner buffalo today, asking for their energy to infuse your life. They have so much to offer us and teach us as they have for generations.
Here’s to appreciating Buffalo Energy!
