How are you protecting your energy to stay on course?

When you hear your energy needs protecting, what comes to mind? A ball of light surrounding your body with armor repelling anything that strikes? You wouldn’t be too far off from the truth. Your energy source is the force that surrounds your body to protect it from illness, pain, stress, and all the outside elements. 

When we don’t take care of this energy source or allow holes to start forming to weaken your energy, it begins to break down, allowing the outside elements to breach your energy force, or boundaries, and cause a whole host of issues. The biggest and most powerful access you have to this energy source is your mind.

They say the mind is capable of anything and it has been proven to be true over and over. In fact, most of the illnesses we encounter over life can be directly correlated with our minds. Let me explain.

Remember when you were a kid how nothing seemed to phase you? Have you ever watched a toddler? When they fall, they immediately look to their parents for their reactions before they react. If the parent is upset and runs to them, they begin to cry. If the parent, starts laughing and says, “Did that mean slide bite you again?” They laugh it off and continue playing. Much of the pain we experience in life is based on how the brain deciphers whether this injury hurts or not. This is why so many people have varying pain tolerances. Some can handle a high pain threshold, while others cannot, and this is based on how their brain has been trained.

When we are born, our brain is brand new. There are no thoughts of pain, hurt, or guilt. We haven’t experienced this yet. Plus, our energy source is already full. Not until we start to have life experiences do we start to notice the holes (a loss of energy) and start to feel the pain, hurt, and guilt. These are all learned as we grow up.

But we can learn to protect our energy source with tools and techniques.

  • Find positivity in everything you see. Remember there is a silver lining in every dark cloud you just need to be open to it.

  • Learn to say no to those things that no longer serve you, whether that be relationships or tasks.

  • Work to declutter your space, office, home, and car. By decluttering you have less to worry about.

  • Get better sleep. Rest can fill those holes more so than anything else.

Just remember your energy source is the most important part of your arsenal against disease, mindset, allergies, rashes, inner peace, and more. By paying attention to how you feel and work to implement things that can help you keep your energy source full, you can live a much healthier life both physically and mentally.
